Erin McGee

Erin McGee grew up in Northern California. The oldest of three girls (and the tomboy of the group), she preferred to play “veterinarian” to her pets and stuffed animals rather than "mommy" to dolls. She always knew her adult life would include rescuing animals and she has rescued many including her current menagerie: 4 dogs, 2 cats, some chickens, and her 24 year old Quarter Horse named Sam. She took up horseback riding and ranch sorting at the age of 40, hobbies that had been on her life's bucket list.

Erin moved with her husband (an engineer turned winemaker) from the heart of Silicon Valley to a peaceful 20-acre San Miguel ranch in 2012 for a change of pace. As a self-declared 'Jill-of-all-Trades', she loves to learn new things and is forever taking classes in subjects she's interested in. She holds several degrees/ certificates in the Arts and prior to moving, she owned a successful craft store in Santa Clara. Her thirst for knowledge, love of animals, and quest for a simpler life makes living on the Central Coast the perfect place to be.
